It's different from mods in how it's installed and runs, but is similar in that it changes how the game looks and works. I made sure to test the optifine on a working minecraft vanilla. I both tried to install it by using the installer and placing it in the mods folder inside the instance of the modpack itself. The error is as follows: An error during statup prevented Minecraft from starting I placed it in the Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons\mods folder. Sadly, when I download the Optifine version 1.12.2_HD_U_E2.jar and put it in the "mods" folder inside the instance of R.A.D.
